I didn't get started on my fitness journey until I was almost 40.

Wish I could say I was always into fitness but I wasn't. I thought I was because I was active and went to the gym a few days a week. I didn't really work out, it was more social than anything. I had a picture in my head of the person who joined the Army and did cool stuff.

Even in my late 30's I still thought I was that lean, mean machine I was at 20. I wasn't.

Here is the picture that changed my life. My daughter took this when we went to the beach. I was 38 years old.

"Never again."

That's what I told myself. Never again will I let myself get that far from where I want to be.

I was tired, depressed, lethargic, and weak. I had no stamina. My sex life sucked. I had no real self-confidence. I decided things had to change.

I found a gym with good training, started getting my diet locked in, and little by little everything got better. Now, 10 years later, everything is different. I'm different, better than I ever thought possible.

In the past 10 years, I've attained several certifications in health and fitness. I owned a health and fitness center for several years. I currently work with men over 40 as a personal trainer and online health and fitness coach.
